BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP
Membership is open to individuals whose work or interests include developing, marketing or administering charitable planned gifts. Those individuals include fundraisers for nonprofit institutions and professional advisors working in a variety of for-profit settings.
Membership Programs: Three annual meetings at reduced rate to members. These events provide education to our members and networking among planned giving professionals. The highlight of the year is the two day conference held in the spring. Roundtable luncheons for members will also be held throughout the year. There is a section for members only on the official website, www.scpgc.com, and a mentor program.
National Membership: Includes membership in the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning (PPP). Through membership in the local council, members receive updates on charitable legislation, ethics, gift techniques and other issues impacting planned giving. Members will also receive the quarterly publication, The Journal of Gift Planning; an email newsletter, Gift Planner Update; and access to an email discussion list for PPP members, Gift-Pl.
