Franchelle C. Millender has been in private practice since 1977. Her primary practice is Elder Law, including long term care planning, estate planning, probate, and real estate matters. She received both her undergraduate and law degrees from The University of South Carolina. She is a member of the American Bar Association, South Carolina Bar Association, and Richland County Bar Association. She is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.

She is a frequent lecturer on estate planning and long term care planning. She served as Co-Chairman of the Governor's Coalition on Advance Directives and is currently a member of the Board of the ARC of the Midlands. She is the author of a book entitled SOUTH CAROLINA ELDER LAW: A PRACTICE MANUAL.
